“This duology is an underrated gem and should be a must-read in the sci-fi romance genre. The angst, romance, mystery, and dystopian setting were PERFECT. So much to love about this book. My favourite part was how real all the characters were. Their complicated emotions, actions, and interactions with each other were so authentic that I was fully immersed in the story.
Between the love triangle drama, political intrigue, and figuring out who their actual enemies were, all while simultaneously surviving on a foreign planet, the story was highly engaging from the very start.
This is by far my favourite read of the year. I can't wait for the author's next work :)
